For storage of your files, the 512GB SSD has an M.2 2280 form factor, uses the PCIe 4.0 x4 bus, and offers quick access to your data. For additional internal storage, there are two extra M.2 2280 slots for NVMe PCIe SSDs, plus 3.5″ drive bays. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the Z2 G9 SFF features one 20 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port with 5V/3A of charging power, plus four 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one of which supports 5V/2.1A charging, three 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, and three 480 Mb/s USB-A 2.0 ports.
